Conservatoire Populaire de Musique (CPM) The Popular Conservatory of Music

AMAmusique is partners with CPM in its mission to teach adults. The details of this partnership can be found in the convention that has tied CPM to AMAmusique since May 2005: AMAmusique is in charge of the extracurricular program specially designed for adults (usually over 25 years old) who, for various reasons, do not wish to follow the structure and pace imposed by a music school (from article 2).

CPM and AMAmusique complement each other in their teaching methods: AMAmusique usually offers private lessons, while CPM usually offers group lessons.

CPM, provides adults with private lessons according to availability only after having satisfied the demand for children’s lessons.

CPM provides AMAmusique with logistical support by providing teaching rooms, taking care of certain administrative fees, participating in pedagogical co-productions and by being in charge of the CPM-AMAmusique coordinator position.
For CPM, AMAmusique is a flexible laboratory, open to the development of innovative teaching methods.

University of Geneva

AMAmusique and the Cultural Activities Service of the University of Geneva are joined by a partnership contract. This contract makes information about AMAmusique readily available to the students of the university via the newsletter sent by the Cultural Activities Service and through the AMAmusique page on the Cultural Activities website.

This partnership makes it possible for music to be performed during some of the events organized by the Cultural Activities Service of the University of Geneva.

University students receive a discount on private lessons (60 Swiss francs per hour instead of 80 Swiss francs), on the membership fee (50 Swiss francs instead of 70 Swiss francs), as well as on master classes, chamber music events or on “music education” classes.
