-Adapted to the needs of each student. The teacher personalizes his/her pedagogical approach
- Specific because students follow their own path and not one paved for them by a school or certificate preparation program. AMA offers numerous opportunities for the student to perform if he/she wishes to do so. The program for group lessons changes every year. Important musicians such as composer Eric Gaudibert, “Contrechamps” founder Philippe Albère and musicologist Pierre Michot have given lectures.
AMAmusique has also set up a system for introducing chamber music partners without needing the intermediary of a teacher.
- Convenient because a student can sign-up at any time and can also change the frequency, schedule and length of his/her classes at any time during the year.
AMAmusique adapts to demand: if classical music teaching predominates, AMAmusique also offers classes in jazz, baroque music, Cuban music and popular songs.
AMAmusique offers more than 400 people the possibility of playing music, whether it be for the first time or the first time in many years, whether it be playing alone, or sharing the experience in a group by playing chamber music, or performing in public in the various recitals organized in different areas of the canton to allow everyone to share his/her acquired skills.
Each year, AMAmusique takes part in the “Fête de la Musique”. This gives AMAmusique the opportunity to introduce itself to the public and to provide its members with a place to perform.
AMAmusique affirms its importance in the community: numerous members of the association perform regularly in various retirement homes or medical establishments in order to share their passion with others.
Lessons are given at the Popular Conservatory of Music, in certain public schools or at another venue proposed by the teacher.
